Crystal Palace boss rules injured trio out of Manchester United match

Patrick Vieira confirms that James McArthur, James Tomkins, and Nathan Ferguson are all unavailable for the trip to Old Trafford

Crystal Palace will be without three injured players for their Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday. Manager Patrick Vieira confirmed in his pre-match press conference that James McArthur, James Tomkins, and Nathan Ferguson are all unavailable.

McArthur has a groin injury, while Tomkins is struggling with a calf problem. Ferguson is recovering from a foot injury.

Vieira said that he is hopeful that all three players will be available for the Eagles' next match, which is against Brentford on 20th August.

In other team news, Vieira confirmed that new signing Cheick Doucoure is fit and available for selection. The midfielder joined Palace from Lens earlier this summer.

Vieira also said that he is expecting a tough match against Manchester United, who have won their first two Premier League games of the season.

"They are a very good team with a lot of quality," Vieira said. "We will need to be at our best to get something from the game."

Crystal Palace are currently 12th in the Premier League table, with two points from their first two games.
