A Fifth Banksy Mural This One Of Pelicans Spotted In London

Fifth Banksy artwork of pelicans appears in London

The elusive street artist has unveiled five new works in the capital in the past week

The latest piece, which depicts two pelicans above a fish and chip shop, has been confirmed as a genuine Banksy by the artist themselves

A fifth Banksy artwork has appeared in London, the latest in a series of new works that have been popping up around the capital in recent days.

The latest piece, which depicts two pelicans above a fish and chip shop, has been confirmed as a genuine Banksy by the artist themselves.

Banksy shared a photo of the artwork on Instagram, with the caption: "Two pelicans having a natter above a chippy in Walthamstow."

The artwork is located on Pretoria Road in Walthamstow, and is the fifth Banksy piece to appear in London in the past week.

The other four works include a painting of a child holding a large red balloon, which was painted on a wall in Waterloo; a painting of a dog peeing on a fire hydrant, which was painted on a wall in Islington; a painting of a man sitting on a bench, which was painted on a wall in Covent Garden; and a painting of a group of people protesting, which was painted on a wall in Parliament Square.

The sudden appearance of so many new Banksy artworks in London has led to speculation that the artist may be planning a major exhibition in the capital.

However, Banksy has not yet confirmed whether this is the case.
