Mikel Arteta's side claim bragging rights in pulsating encounter

Bukayo Saka's brace helps Arsenal maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League

Arsenal emerged victorious from a thrilling North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, winning 3-2 to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Bukayo Saka was the hero for the Gunners, scoring twice in the first half to put his side in control.

Tottenham fought back after the break, with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg pulling one back in the 14th minute and Kai Havertz equalizing in the 37th.

However, Arsenal regained the lead through Saka in the 67th minute, and they held on to secure a vital win.

The victory was Mikel Arteta's 100th as Arsenal manager, and it moved his side four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have now won just one of their last six Premier League games against Arsenal, and they remain eighth in the standings.
