Jayne Hrdlicka to Step Down as Virgin Australia CEO

Jayne Hrdlicka, the first female CEO of Virgin Australia, has announced her decision to leave the airline after nearly four years at the helm.
Hrdlicka, who joined Virgin Australia in 2020, has overseen a period of significant transformation for the company, including leading it through administration and into profitability.
In a statement, Hrdlicka said that it was a "difficult decision" to leave Virgin Australia, but that it was time for a new chapter in her career.
Virgin Australia has not yet announced a successor for Hrdlicka, but it is expected that an appointment will be made in the coming weeks.
